Just got my license and I want to buy a used MG4 Trophy any advice?

I'm not going into complexities of the gear box, as I haven't got a clue. But as far as I'm concerned, and I'm thinking the vast majority on here, if not all, it's an "Auto".
An Auto as i know it, is not having to use a Clutch and not physically changing gears, manually.

Yep but that's nit picking. Me and most folk, wont give a toss it's not a "proper" Auto, or even called an Auto. They will still call it an Auto, end of.
One thing I definitely know, it's not a manual.

Bet it's still an Auto in your mind. Though.
Even if technically, it isn't.

What gears does it change "automatically"? My XPower does not have any to change. There are none. Not even a Reverse Gear. To go backwards the motor is turned backwards. Very simple but definitely not an automatic.

The D N R is something I put up with, but I would never buy an automatic car.

Could use F S B instead (Forward, Stationary, Backwards) but it might not sell well in Ukraine.

Just checked mine and it doesn't say 'Automatic' anywhere, but the MG website calls all their electric vehicles '1-speed automatic'.

Ah, Thought it was. The only thing I can relate to, is "grin factor" and that'll do for me.

No matter what you get, your first car will always stick in your memory , for a multitude of reasons. Just to add, isn't it cheating starting with a MG4 , you have not done your apprenticeship starting with an old banger and tweaking it , getting your hands oily , finding bits in scrapyards with the money you saved on the insurance . Skidding around on icy supermarket carparks at night and explaining to the plod that you are honing your fledging skills to become a better driver. You can still do that , but watch out for the lampposts , the rearward visibility is not that great.
