Keeping teething problems in perspective

The inevitable teething issues are beginning to raise their heads*, but we should keep it in perspective. MG seems to have done a much better job than VAG did with the ID.3 considering that likewise this is a whole new platform. Let's just hope that they fix the issues much quicker and better, and don't leave us owners and the dealers in the lurch as is still the case with VAG.

  • Driver alert being too sensitive
  • iSmart limited to one phone at a time and limited functionality
  • No interior lights in the back ?

Agree, they are only minor teething issues, inconvenient but certainly not disastrous.

Can I just say that my red Trophy is really popping in the sun right now, the metallic in the tri-coat paint looks fantastic! Overall really happy with the car.

It could be some dealers are getting the cars sold and out on the road before they or their mechanics/fitters have been on the training course or had all the PDI info from MG.
