LKA definitely, positively, absolutely stays off?

^^^This - ours had every module updated and R59 installed a few weeks ago and definitely not a feature.

That would be good. Is it still off permanently?

Remember that you have to press the brake pedal to get to the READY state before you check LKA status. (If it really is off permanently then you should see the LKA symbol at the top-left of the driver display in yellow).

More on the LKA. The on/off toggle has been off all week, but today, driving back on the M3 from London….it switched back on? I’ll monitor it and keep you posted.

Apologies for the false hope guys but it’s back to normal after testing it yesterday. Even going near a white line was giving me beeps and rumbles.

It was never in doubt ? and seems to be reacting exactly as it should.?
