Low pressure tyre warning

The warning pressures are not configurable, they are fixed. So when the system resets to learn the new pressures it is still comparing them against the fixed expected pressure.

So why didn’t she get multiple warnings every time she drove, when 2 of the tyres were at 32psi, and 2 were at 31.5psi?

What a load of Bollox these TPMS sensors are. More trouble than they are worth. Never had any trouble whatsoever before TPMS.

We had the same issue, but once we put a bit more in each corner, we haven't had an issue since.

The crazy thing was the car reported the NSR was low, even though it was the same pressure as the others!

Over the years I've always set mine 2 or 3 psi above manufacturers on most cars I've had, I found this gave the most even tyre wear for my style of driving. Setting them at 2.7 bar instead of 2.5 bar when cold on the MG4 also has the advantage of not triggering the TPMS.
FWIW, I've set them at 2.7 bar, using an accurate pressure gauge and the TPMS shows them as 2.6 bar (cold).

I believe it only ever shows one warning, the system is a bit primitive in that respect. Sometimes people have reported it flagging the obviously wrong wheel (according to the pressures) which is a software bug - eg it doesn't flag the wheel with the lowest pressure.

That is maybe down to the display resolution being less precise than the actual measurement, so you see a rounded value, or it is just a bug.

Yep, I am putting solid tyres over wire wheels onto mine next time and I'll be installing a crank handle in the front above the number plate.

That and some reins and a new saddle.

Never had a problem with my horse!

It'll be an improvement over, TPMS's.

No TPMS problems with this.

Bet it was often tyred.
