Hi , I have a mg4 long range 64 kw battery capacity, a few days ago I charged from 3% to 97%, the total kw received was almost 55 kw, is this normal or the battery is not 64 kw?

Hi , I'm new here! Can you move it for me , or I have to do it ? Thanks!
Could speak a debate about the right way and wrong way to do it but do you do equalisation charges? Thanks for quick replies ! I'm trying to figure out why the battery drains so fast, with a full charge I get 120-130 miles when it's below 4 degrees and 200 mile on good weather even if I charge it slowly. I've had the car since it was new, I've always had the same range
It's off intelligent battery, equalisation mean under 10 % and charge on slow? I did it....could be from charging port lights ? lights are off but charging normallyCould speak a debate about the right way and wrong way to do it but do you do equalisation charges?
And check you intelligent battery heating isn't on, that uses a lot of power and some people had it defaulted to on
It is normal to get significantly less range in winter. It will be heavily influenced by how you drive, where you drive and the weather. Thanks for quick replies ! Unless that is all motorway driving though it's seems very low for a long rangeIt is normal to get significantly less range in winter. It will be heavily influenced by how you drive, where you drive and the weather.
Biggest effects on range:
- Temperature (cold battery has less range to give)
- Speed (drive slower on the motorway makes a huge difference)
- Hills (reduce range significantly)
- Wind (can reduce range significantly if headwinds)
Missed that it was LR. Yes, it is very low for a long range. Possibly it has a problem then.Unless that is all motorway driving though it's seems very low for a long range
