MG 4 power steering failure

Mine is not like the others, i still am able to drive it. From what I found until now it probably needs calibrating the steering angle sensor. Mine is out of warranty so I will be trying to do the calibration on it myself to see if that solves it

This happened to me as well 2 days ago. I was driving down a hill and suddenly got the "EPS warning" red signal on my dashboard (and some messages in the app).
Pretty scary knowing that this could happen just before a sharp curve!
I drove the car home (not easy without Power Steering), but a while later the car was fine again.
The garage asked me to bring the car so they could check whether it is safe to drive (irony ...)!
A quick diagnosis did not find anything, so the car was safe to drive. They could not give me any explanation or advice.
Driving my MG4 knowing that this could happen again does NOT give me a good feeling!

I had the light come on twice today (first time ever). Only flashed once but everything was still working. Second time was today in the parking lot after driving home - again just came on for a second and disappeared again. No clue what the issue is.
