Just had a swan neck tow bar fitted. Fitter said they updated the software for towing, but car unable to go in reverse with trailer attached. Any ideas? Thanks

You'll probably need to activate 'Towing Mode', but I'm not sure where you'll find it on the MG5.

Towing problem sorted. It allowed me to reverse this morning after receiving a warning bleep reversing camera not operating with an abnormal alarm message: The Park Distance Status of your vehicle is abnormal on my MG Electric app. I can live with that.

How does the extra load on the rear affect traction, as it’s hardly difficult to spin the front wheels in normal circumstances + thinking of putting one on my FL - any thoughts on brand / type etc?

I am carring 200kgs on board with tools and equipment so the rear is sitting very low ! I only drive in Eco mode as sport just lights up the the front. Normal ok sometimes but like the less jolting on the throttle Smoother pull off. Also every journey I do is more then the battery range

My weekly consumption is between 300 to 500 kWh a week charging
With over 1000 plus miles I cover weekly
