MG HS Phev Traction Control, working ?

The instant torque with EV cars, including the 2025 HS PHEV is immense. It will spin its wheels fairly easily (with all the electronic assists switched on), especially in the wet and with the front wheels turned, such as pulling out from a T-junction.

I find the HS PHEV much better in this respect than my previous Skoda Superb iV (PHEV), that was very wheel-spin happy.

No idea why the manufacturers can't turn up the 'sensing' but it is what it is - perhaps it isn't that easy!

Thank you for the feedback, I owned a full EV Kia EV6 and 2 hybrids prior to this and did not experience as much wheel spin and chirp when pulling away it does not bother me that much although it could be a little more concerning in winter conditions, if it is normal for the marque then I will just adopt and adapt but I just need to know if there is a problem or not, I have it set in Normal mode by the way.

Yes although I should mention that I had the EV6 in ECO mode most of the time but even when set in that if you put your foot down it would take off like a scalded cat but handle the wheel spin adequately it may also be relevant that it was heavier then the MG by quite a margin if the published figures are accurate.
