I suspect it’s Dynamic F? Range Estimation, in other words what range you can expect based on recent driving efficiency and remaining battery.

Hi have a question about the drivers display on the IM5 and I wonder if anyone can help me. The WLTP beside the range estimate has changed to DFRE.

What is 'DFRE' and why would it change? Many thanks!View attachment 41009

Ha. Flat here! And very hot too (29C at 9pm!). That’s what I see for town driving - better than i was led to believe by reviewers….

If it turns out that the ride and handling aren't that good on UK roads, then I'll have to rethink my next vehicle choice. I'll reserve judgement until my test drive and then make my own mind up about that.
The only thing that's settled so far for me is the fuel choice! Oh, that and my budget of course!!

I have one on order. It rides well and Tom at Top Gear hasn't a clue.
This car beats any others, and that's before looking at the price.
UK and German makers should be very worried. At these prices (even without discounts) nothing comes close. Auto Express are making nice noises about the bmw i3 this week and with options it is twice the price.

It's looking like a promising package but let's not get carried away and make statements like it beats all others

There has been no real world reviews/results on long term UK use as yet.
