Right. So I gave it one last shot...Factory reset....
It worked!!
Car is now bind. Happy days!!!

Glad you got there in the end. What/where did you reset and what else did you have to set up again afterwards?

I had to go to the main menu of the car and do the full factory reset.
Took about 10 minutes.
I had to reset everything afterwards. Spotify account, adas settings, navigation favourites, phone, android auto, you name it.
Worth it though

Also I need to mention that Miles was in touch trying to help as much as he could and I just had a call from the dealership and the guys were getting ready to book me in asap, organise a loan car etc.

Really happy with the support provided by MG Chorley.

Glad you got it sorted, Nik. So that little blip, you had with MG Chorley, at the beginning, was just that, a blip. Had a feeling Chorley MG, where, OK.

Glad you had good support from Chorley. We had similar teething problems with the MG4 when it came out, dealers were not sure how to bind to the app successfully. I'd hoped they would have made it more slick since then, but at least you got a result - and others can try this if they get stuck too.
