MG iSmart not working following iOS update yesterday

Since updating to 18.1.2 ios yesterday I have lost the ability to use remote activity via the app eg, can't heat the cabin which is a must at the moment. Has anyone else experienced this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and cleared cache.

I think there's a wider issue for everyone at the moment. I can't refresh the app just now but it was fine the day before yesterday

MG UK owners group on Facebook people reporting the same issue. I refreshed this morning at 0730 but it hasn't worked since.

Mine not been working since yesterday evening (Have an iPhone but didn't do any ios updates), couldn't preheat the car on the coldest morning of the year so far!

Haven't updated or changed anything on iPhone - app was working ok and was talking to the 5 but wouldn't refresh/communicate with the 4 for all of today, up until now - just gone to try again, and its come back to life / is working fine again!!!

Mine came back around 18:45, seems like a repeat of the 'Friday server down' issue, not noticed it for a while but then this is first time I've wanted to pre heat the cabin for a while.

The App on my IPhone has been working just fine for months now, but yesterday when I tried to defrost the car, it flagged up with the token expired noticed.
Not seen this for a long time .
Then I was requested to log back into my account again, so it looked very much like an update had taken place overnight.
I was able to log in successfully, but I was unable to communicate with the car .
I tried a total reboot of my phone, but that failed also, so I just gave up trying that day.
Following morning, all was working correctly again .
Very likely a server outage / busy then .
My next door neighbour has a really nice Audi EV and he was complaining that he was unable to defrost his car also.
