MG ZS EV 2022 Does AEB and/or FCW work when MG pilot is switched off?

Does AEB and/or FCW work when MG pilot is switched off or only with pilot switched on and cruise control activated?

I've only triggered the Collision warning once, but that was without it on. I'm assuming they both work without it on. It's would be a little odd if it was any other way tbh.
