Hi everyone,

I've had my ZS SE LR since the end of November and I'm loving it so far.

However, I've noted quite a big difference in the amount of electricity my zappi charger says it has put into the battery and how much the battery % has increased. Does anyone know what the round trip charging efficiency should be for our batteries?

Two days ago when it was sunny my zappi said it had added 6.8kw to the car so I was expecting the battery charge to increase by about 10%, however the battery only increased by 7%. I didn't expect the efficiency to be perfect, and I understand the remaining % is only an estimate & battery temperature will have some impact, but that seems like a big difference.

I'm sure lots of people have been closely monitoring how much electricity they put into the car vs actual battery %. Any insight on what we should expect would be greatly appreciated :)

Some times its doing more than just charging car like a bit of battery heater to help charge or the other end water pump and fan to keep cool

Average expected loses on an AC charger are between 8-13% dependant on:

Ambient temperature
Incoming voltage level to property
Quality of cabling supplying charger and charge cable
