I've seen a couple of other posts about the charging port not opening, mine has been fine for over a year until last night I got home and it wouldn't open - this is on a 2020 model so has the port behind the MG badge.
Finally managed to free it this afternoon and can see some residual ice in the catch where the prong thingy on the door inserts so assume it was frozen stuck (was -4°C when I got back)
Anyone else come accross any issues in cold weather with the door getting frozen stuck?
The manual shows the emergency release mechanism but that only relates to releasing a cable that is already plugged in so not very helpful in this instance.
