I did not love the powder blue of the mk1, but this looks good. How was the first drive?

Once I got used to not having a clutch, first automatic, it drove really nicely.

I feel your pain - it wouldn't be the first time I've had to sit on my left foot in an automatic just so I don't stamp on the brake . That's what keeps me hanging on... that this car is a nice drive, and I'll enjoy it when/if it turns up.

yes mate rang them yesterday still at sea date they have is 11th Aug. I am hoping its on one of the two due at Portbury on the 11th/12th July As MG shipping is always over estimated to cover for delays lol

Same delivery date as mine, hopefully they’ll turn up and this wait will finally be over!

My SR Trophy Connect ordered from Tusker in January was delivered today. Came with granny and Type 2 cables. Lots to learn but so far so good ?

yes its true as I was told yesterday that MG do overestimate their delivery dates. But who knows lol

Hi , im new here . we've ordered an MG ZS EV in August does anyone know any news of cars getting shipped in , The Garage keeps saying no word ? feel like we are getting mucked about . Said it would be middle September now saying possibly end of September . Thank you

Australian dates have been pushed out a couple of times as well. Patience is the game in the global car supply chain in 2023.

Ordered March 11th. I had also called in to the show room to (loudly) "check if I still wanted it" and I told them I would take any colour that arrived. I ended up with the colour that I ordered but if you're not precious about the colour it could be worth a try.

Clearly worked I ordered mine 3 days before ?
Gave them a call when i saw your post but no luck yet, said most of the cars were fossil fuel. Looks like you got lucky ?

Had a call from my dealership yesterday regarding the Pan-roof. Whilst i am not expecting my car till early next year, he told me that they had taken a call from MG to relay that all Trophy cars with named customers before the 1st of July will have the Pan-roof. As with anything, they hold the cards, but i am a little more positive now.

It is nice to see some familiar faces on here getting there cars now! Hopefully you will all get them before I do (being late to the party in ordering).

I am January also, but I note this poster is in Scotland?

I think the biggest bottleneck appears to be lease orders through Leeds Luscombe which seems to have large lease contracts across the business.

How's this queue jumping? As I understand it, the lease companies put in a batch order as soon as the cars are made available to order?

I thought that lease orders still had to go though a dealership the same as personal orders from Joe Bloggs. Mine from Novuna has gone via Holdcroft in Stoke

Lease orders do go through dealerships. I am ordering through a lease company but like many others, these will be supplied by Luscombes.
