MG4 51 kWh winter consumption

Hi! is this consumption normal in this month? When i drive i see the consumption above 20kWh/100km for a few km. After that the number normally drops below 20 like 14. Is this because of battery tempature is low at startup?

0 to 10(Celsius) during a day in my city. There is no snow. Yet‍

Have no idea in percentage but it seems diffrent in winter around 100 km maybe above in winter

After such a small distance the tiniest thing has a large effect. For example, having reset the trip while on the motorway, after 5 miles I slowed by 20mph for traffic and saw the consumption (mi/kWh) shoot up by about 15% over just a few seconds (due to regen).

So a small incline or braking hard a few times and not getting full regen are possibilities too. See how it goes after 20 or 30 miles.

Also when cold, on a long journey you will notice a 5 or 10% improvement after 40 minutes or so after the battery has warmed. Using battery heating before a long journey can be worth doing.
