Had my MG4 since Oct 24 and the charging port lights stopped working about 4 months ago. Trawled through this thread and got a probable simple fix. Waited a month, still not working so called the local MG4 service centre, assuming (naively) that since the fault has been around since at least 2022 they would have a fix by now. After a few seconds of silence he said in all the years of servicing MG's he had never heard of this fault, but would be happy to look at it if I brought it in. Didn't want to go down that path so, as per the consensus feedback in the thread I pulled out then re-inserted the F9 fuse. Solved the problem immediately. I found the hardest part was replacing the trim panel at the end of the dashboard afterwards, also make sure you use long nosed pliers with curved tips, the fuse is held very firmly in place. Don't worry about disconnecting the -ve battery terminal as well (I didn't), although that would be an alternative to the fuse approach. After a month they continue to work. Thx to all for contributing to this fix and to #26 for the useful video. And to the MG service centre....thanks for nothing!
