MG4 EV ES Digital Key Activation Failed

The current app shows my car key. On white screen, tap the arrow in the digital key pane. Tap that key to get to the digital key page.

Edited: yes but it only shows the one key now. Before the version change the app showed a whole list of keys associated with my account. More it only shows the one it is using.

So, are you saying that there should be multiple keys rather than the one you have?

When you had multiple keys did you go through the enabling process many times to create the keys?

I've not used it but if you 'Disable' the key on the digital key page does that remove the key from the account? And if so, could this be a way of recreating the key?

Did you have multiple keys because you'd created extra keys to Share them with others? If yes then that sharing feature no longer exists ... the equivalent now is to add Accounts (like a Friends and Family feature) so that other people can access your car.

Based on that I'd think about giving what @Martinonline suggests above a go.

The extra keys were created when I rebound the car to the account, and at other actions I cannot remember anymore.

I can probably fix it by unbinding the car, discarding my account and creating a new one. Last time I did that it worked. So I deleted my original account - waited a month and tried it again - it was still there with all the keys, plus another one from rebinding again!

So back to the new account, but rebinding that created a second digital key and guess what - the digital key on the new account no longer worked.

I gave up at that point.
