Yep, they do look good. If that was a Hot Hatch, ICE car, you'd be chuffed with those exhausts. And they are perfectly straight, which is a bonus. ??

I can't find a photo now, but a friend has (or had) one of those plasma balls running inside a silver painted drain pipe in his mx-5 conversion. It looked quite natural filling the big hole where the ICE exhaust used to me, and looked suitably mysterious and "electrical" at night.

It was unfortunately underwhelming during the day; daylight completely washes it away. [ Edit: though, perhaps with a bit more power... ? ]

The below is the sort of thing; they can be much more impressive. He had to take off the base, obviously, and adapt it for 12 V operation (normally, it's USB powered):

You would be viewing it from above in this photo, with the middle of the plasma in the middle of the "exhaust pipe".

I hope I'm not giving anyone any silly ideas... ?

Agreed! I'm not in danger of dropping thousands on it either... but the idea of occasionally pairing the insane Xpower acceleration with the visceral experience of a traditional sports car exhaust system (during a bout of spirited comparative driving perhaps?) would give a giggle. Ninja mode for sure the rest of the time ??

Or a Van der Graaf Generator, no not the prog rock group, so you have blue sparks coming out of the back earthing to the tarmac.

Hmmm... Plasma, blue sparks, or lighting coming out the car. People are going to think somethings gone wrong and it's about to catch fire/explode. You'll be constantly getting stopped by the fire brigade who'll want to put you out!
