Yes, fingers crossed this’ll be in a future software update. In my test drive I didn’t have any problem with lane assist. It could have been turned off and I didn’t realise. I didn’t touch any of the settings when I got in, so it must have remembered it’s previous settings set by the dealer.This guy appeared to confirm that the car does not retain your settings if you turn off the aggressive lane assist and you have to turn it off again each time you restart the car if you have MG Pilot on standby.
You can turn off lane assist and other 'features' in any other car I know of and hopefully MG will 'correct' this down the track.
