MG4 SE SR rapid change at 88kw

Seen the about the My23 MG4 all the changes and it mentions slowing down charged speed on the SR to 88kw from 117Kw.
Only had the car a day but have seen quite a few YouTube vids and some stuff on here.

Nobody has managed to exceed 87kW on the early SR models. I've seen it a few times on Ionity and Osprey chargers but it does charge to 80% as quickly as MG claimed so it's not really an issue.

That’s what I mean these new figures are more in line with what the SR is like. Make you think could it every do 117kw even in optimal conditions

I concur with this, only ever seen 86kW on my SE! - but its not an issue

Not helpful making us SR owners envious of the LR charging speed ?. BTW speed/rate is measured in kW not kWh ...

Not envious. I really am not in that much of a hurry. I like my LFP battery.
