MG4 SECRET MENU CODE IN VIDEO. DISCLAIMER IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU CAUSE ANY ISSUES

Yes, but there is nothing about how to use anything other than the firmware updates which are self-explanatory. No mention of the interesting stuff.

Could be, but all the SE owners want initially is to gain access to that menu…

But again nothing new there either, the phone code has been well known for some time and doesn't work on the SE.

Something amiss in that case I think. Perhaps it’s the steps to take beforehand or something. Seems odd that the two methods are there yet only one works

Edit - wonder is it the way the forum has been correcting the code when it’s added? I just realised the code was 100% wrong - missing asterisks, so I had to upload an image to sort it…

If you click 5 times on the right bottom corner 5 times, the password menu pops up but I don't know the code for SE.

It's an 8 digit code that's based on the cars serial number and changes daily.
I haven't figured out exactly how it's calculated yet.
You can see it in the log files if you make some password attempts and then export the Headunit logs to a USB.

I don't understand this forum, but seems a lot of people want access to other cars.

Interesting ... I know you said previously it was based on the serial number, but I don't previously recall the "changes daily" observation.
All my initial playing was on the same day. It's only been the last couple of days i've gone back to it and the code I had didn't work anymore.

I've got a few days worth of logs now and each day has a different code now. Like I said, I haven't figured out how it's all used yet.

Hi, I’m having the same problem with my Brand new Mg4. Car is not activated!
I managed to get to the “Please enter the PIN Code” but 200519, doesn’t work.
I have what is called in my region Lux, it’s kind of a Trophy, 360 camera, R18, Wireless charging and full ADAS, but with a 49kwH battery.
By any chance any ideas to get the PIN number? Thanks.

See post 26 above, does that work?… MG4 SECRET MENU CODE IN VIDEO. DISCLAIMER IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU CAUSE ANY ISSUES | MG4 EV (2022 to 2025) Forum

Search for a code something like !mg12345 .. the later Trophy spec cars used that code.
Hi @siteguru, thanks for your input.

After quite a bit of searching on Google and other forums, I found that the PIN code for my MG4 (2026/2027) is:

“!Mg12345” — with a capital M and an exclamation mark at the beginning.

Unfortunately, following the video posted by @shaun38, it didn’t work for me. In the 4G section there is no data plan shown. It seems in my region the internal eSIM is not enabled, so the car currently has no mobile data service at all.

I assumed that since the car was connected to my home Wi-Fi it might work, but no luck so far.
I still don’t really understand what the Wi-Fi function is actually used for, since things like weather, maps, etc. seem to rely entirely on the internal eSIM.

Has anyone managed to make this work on the MG4 Electric without the internal data plan? Maybe using my own phone data plan?
