See that headlight symbol?
That's the only way to turn your fog lights on and off.

So they could have just added that button top left of the AA screen, or add it as a star button use. How often do you suddenly need to turn on or off fog lights?

The Highway Code says you're not supposed to run fog lights unless visibility drops below 100m, and turn them off when it improves.

Driving in adverse weather conditions - Fog (234 to 236)

If the word ‘Fog’ is shown on a roadside signal but the road is clear, be prepared for a bank of fog or drifting patchy fog ahead.

Yes, and I'm not sure most drive somewhere that frequently changes between this. If it's foggy, you have it on. If it's not, you turn it off. Probably at most 2 buttons presses a drive.

Highghway Code also says to not flash people to let them know they can pull out of a junction, but I still see that everytime I drive at night, and to not sound your horn when in traffic and stationary, or leave engine on when stationary.

Well they could have added in the status bar or add in a new button. Given the software it uses, I think it's doable. They chose the easiest option, which is fine, but equally they went above and beyond for the HVAC UI which technically they didn't need to do.

One funny quirk i found on my 23' SE; When i use carscanner (btw, it works very well sideloaded to the infotainment itself!) and obd interface, the drivers side window controls stop working. Once i lock the car and leave it for a while, it then starts working again when entering the car.

Anyone else noticed this?

Is R67 really the cure for that, did the customer have tested it in various scenarios? I still have it with R63, even when all components, including T-Box, are on latest Version. this seems to be a timing issue and involving the MAC Address (Bluetooth ) of the Car being randomised (actually there is one MAC that is "real"). I hope that this issue will really be fixed, this is the only issue besides Volume drop when using AA and messages from car (Low Battery) that is bugging me.

We don't have enough feedback to tell for sure the BT issue us fixed.

For the volume drop, I used to launch voice control to reset the volume (you activate voice control and disable it directly) or you can turn down the alert.

What is exactly the problem with the volume?

For example you listen to Spotify with Android auto.
When for example battery is low our MG fembot lowers volume and helds a speech about that you have to charge battery soon. After this message the audio from Android auto is low. Or you use Satnav (why?) and Mrs gives you direction the audio from Android Auto stays at lower volume. You press play & Pause and it will be normal volume again. But this is something that should not be hard to fix.

Aah. That explains it. Never use AA for music in the car. And Navi voice is plain silly in the Netherlands since navi does not support Dutch.

I use AA for music, typically internet radio. Volume returns to previous level after interrupting messages, so no issues here.

I get the occasional disconnect for maybe 20 secs but that's not an issue for me.

Can you get into detail: which MG4 Year & Version, Smartphone, Android Version, cable or wireless (with a dongle) and Infotainment + T-Box version.
Here is mine: MG4 Lux (EU) MY23, Pixel 8 Pro, Android 16, Cable, R63 + SNAKP21E32. (Delivered with R46 & SNAKP18E32). could be possible that there are differences when using Carplay, but think the MG4s (maybe except MY24) should behave the same.
