Still; I had missed it. Was it hard to get it fixed, looks like rear glass only but was there other damage?

It was an insurance job ... rear screen, NS rear light cluster, and some paint respray/touch up. It was all handled quite smoothly (I was with The AA Insurance then) and was completed in about 4 weeks - the delay being the wait for the parts.

It was the vivid memory of that picture that drove me out into the teeth of the storm to move Caliban inside!

I see it's going to go on blowing till about six in the morning. I suppose I'd better go back out and re-garage him just in case. The cars in the street here that have been outside through it all seem to be OK but you never know.

Mine will have to stay in the drive at the mercy of flying slates as I have a tall Sycamore, tall very tall poplar and a very tall cherry on council owned land waiting to demolish my garage, I've been waiting for the council to remove them since 2021 without any action or acknowledgement though a independent councillor has managed to get them trimmed but they removed the lower branches and they are now top heavy
