Anyone fed up of the normal coloured display can switch to the clock only display just by pressing and holding the large dial for around 5 secs. I find it much nicer when driving especially at night. Also, once chosen it stays as a default. Probably somewhere on this forum already but worth refreshing.

Holding it for longer (About 30s) will reboot the infotainment, which sometimes comes in handy if carplay is playing up and doesn't want to work.

It's actually also possible to turn the display off completely you have to hit that right arrow button on the bottom row which reveals an additional option to do that.
