Anyone else summoned up the courage to replace their speakers? I find the mid bass overwhelming and it spoils an otherwise enjoyable drive.

There was an excellent MG4 video tutorial I watched, but not seen one for an S5. Ordered some speakers and material and will post when I've done mine, but love to learn from someone else if it has already been done.

Hi, I haven't done the door speakers but I've installed an amp where I'm running the factory speakers. I've also pulled up the tweeter grille to have a look. You just need a plastic trim removal tool to wedge them up. Proceed with care.

The infotainment system is pretty much the same as an MG4. I used an Ali Express patch cable. The infotainment system is located behind the glove box. There are 3 to 4 panels that need to be removed. Don't waste time amping the factory speakers. You don't get much of a gain. The speakers are just rubbish.

Please don't attempt this if you don't have experience in pulling cars apart and or understand 12V wiring.
