Just received some more mgtitan accessories, black wing mirror covers and black camera covers. What do you all think ? I recon they go well with the Rembrandt grey !

They use yodel in the uk, if you track through mgtitan you will see a second tracking number, put that in yodel and you should find it ( mg titan seem to be horribly slow at dispatch but as soon as they land in the uk its about 2 days).

Right...So received my order with the boot lights.
Dead easy to install; but not the correct ones doh!
The ones I got are extremely short in length; barely covering a third of the boot perimeter.
Very different to the ones on the youtube video.
Email sent; lets see how they respond. Disappointing at least.

That’s disappointing Nik, mine don’t go all the way round, they go from around half way up one side , over the top and about half way down the other side. I have seen sets that go all the way around on Ali-express but didn’t fancy lights at the bottom that might get crushed.
Hopefully they will sort it for you, as I said before they can be slow on delivery ( still waiting for rear mud flaps ordered 8 days ago - not even shipped yet. But to be fair when I email them I get a reply very quickly.

I see. hmmm I wonder if they are the right ones then?
I went to the conclusion that they are the wrong ones based on their videos of lights going around all the boot.
Could you please send me a photo if you can of your lights so I can compare?

To be honest they really light up the boot area very clearly. I did look at the ones that go all the way around but as I said I was worried that I’d end up crushing the lower ones when loading the boot with heavy stuff.
The hardest part was feeding the power cable through from the boot light but once you get it through the rest is easy - and they work

I've got the full one coming from Ali-express. I order that one because i have the parcel shelf. I wasn't sure if the parcel shelf would block out the light if it only covered the top half. But then i need my car delivered before i can try any of it out.

Thanks for this; much appreciated. So it appears they did send me the right ones. I got misguided by the fact that their onsite videos have the ones that go around the full boot.
Will give it another go tomorrow (installation wise). I was 90% done and took it off....

Managed to set them up yesterday. Quite happy with the end result and when I used the boot last night they do make a lot of difference.

Right, update on the roof bars endeavour.
Thanks to a Chinese colleague I am in direct contact with a Thule supplier in China.
The set they sell is the following:

Feet: 720500 (Edge Clamp)
Front Bar: 721520 (WingBar Edge 104cm)
Rear Bar: 721420 (WingBar Edge 95cm)
Kit: Custom LS6 Kit (Provided by the dealer, often unbranded or labeled specifically for IM Motors).

Feet and bars I can easily source here in the UK.
I suspect that the so called custom kit is plain roof clamps for another car that happen to fit on the IM6.
Cheeky buggers don't want to share the product code and they are trying to sell me the whole kit!
My colleague is currently negotiating the clamps only....
It is apparently common practice having roof bars on the IMs in China.
I have also approached Thule Europe and raised with them the Chinese approach. I am talking with one of their agents. Who knows, they may actually help.
I have 2 videos of IM6 with Thule roof bars and boxes from Chinese official Thule shops, no idea how to upload
I have shared them with the Thule agent from Sweden too .
I played with an old clamp that I have, not compatible, and it actually can go under the plastic trim over the door sill.
The journey continues
Becoming quite knowledgeable on Chinese apps and sites. If I carry on like this I reckon MI6 will knock on my door lol.

Well all Chinese vendors completely ignored my requests for information.
But the company I work for has an office at Shenzhen. I convinced the local manager to purchase a kit for me and ship it over.
It's on its way now, hopefully delivery in 2-3 weeks.
I will link all relevant information upon delivery

This is for the Thule kit by the way. Apparently they are a gazillion of local universal kits ( you can find them on AliExpress as tiger claw roofbars) but my man in China said that they are cheap for a reason.
