MZ ZS EV Infotainment screen goes off

This happened to me today. I have a ZS Exclusive petrol car. The screen went blank. The car is only two months old. I have not connected any devices so it can't be that. I will post again when I've spoken to the dealer tomorrow

I have a 69 plate ZS EV Exclusive and my infotainment screen has been doing that since day 1. I have reported it on a number of occasions but it has not been fixed and it is still doing it although not as often as it was.

Has anybody had this problem? It has happened a few times with me. I turn the car on and everything boots up as normal but the main infotainment screen fails to light up. It has also suddenly switched off whilst driving a couple of times. This worries me, if I was using the sat nav then that could cause problems. On one occasion I drove to my dealer when it failed to light up and showed them. They took it into the workshop and, as you would guess, it turned on just as it went in. They checked all the connections but could do little else. It has happened a couple of times since then. The heater and AC still work but you cant see the settings on screen. The radio will not work. Anybody else had this??

The screen turning black or the failing to respond on the Gen1 model of the ZS EV has been an issue from its release.
We has one of the first wave of ZS EV’s in the late 2019 / early 2020’s and it was a problem way back then !.
There has been a few updates to help with trying to improve the situation, but it has not completely resolved the issues.
The Gen2 model has improved the situation, but clearly it still has some issues.
It is still temperamental on occasions.
