Dual-car KV_1600x600.webp

MG4 EV Urban starts from £23,495 (Comfort Standard Range), £25,495 (Comfort Long Range), £27,995 (Premium Long Range)
MG4 EV starts from £29,995 (Premium Long Range - equivalent of Trophy LR), £32,995 (Premium Extended Range - up to 338 miles WLTP), £33,995 (X-Power)

Thanks for that Miles. So you can knock 10 grand off all those prices, pretty much straight away. 😉🙂👍
Not that much, no... but I'd expect offers to be competitive, as MG always come to the party with gifts.

Don’t mind the look of the urban, but I would’ve preferred it to still be RWD. So is the MG4 EV premium extended range basically taking the spot of the current ER in the line up? I thought I read somewhere they were dropping the ER from the MG4 line up, but maybe that was just the Australian market.

Very likely.

Urban is low cost and will have shortish range, but is actually bigger and with better boot space due to FWD.

Main MG4 model hardware is likely to be unchanged, because this was trailed as an interior refresh, so expect same batteries, capacities and drivetrain.

Can I ask members generally?

- Are you excited about an interior refresh, do you think it will keep the car competitive, or is it too little?

- Does the prospect of a new cheaper version make sense to you, or do you find it confusing?

Thanks in advance for any responses. 😀

The interior refresh is interesting as it should improve the dreadful laggy infotainment screen. Such a pity though that if I want a workable screen I need to buy a new car. Why couldn’t they fix the old screen?

Are you referring to the hardware or software here? I am assuming you mean software updates? I don't know what infotainment version you have but I imagine the many updates have made it as good as it can be on that hardware.

Like the interior refresh, think it looks great, a tad more upmarket. A cheaper version does make sense, folk are always after a bargain. And think it looks ok.
But think it's a mistake, calling them both MG4 when they look totally different. And will drive, differently. Can't understand that at all. 🤷‍♂️
