New home battery range from Duracell

I chatted with the guy at Fully Charged.

They are very cheap compared to other better known home battery suppliers!
£1,800 for the Givenergy 5kw battery so Duracell a few hundred cheaper.

The Inverters are a bit cheaper as well.

Competition is good!

Thinking about a home battery so enquired from Octopus. A guy called whilst I was out near the Kelpies having a first cycle on one of my new bikes.
He said it would be about £7000 to £7500 for a Tesla 3 fully installed and he’d get back with more info.
30 mins later he called to confirm that lived in Scotland.
That was the end of that then, they don’t install in the land of the Gods.
Back to the power drawing board.

How odd. Have you checked with heatable?

I'm sure there will be some local installers even if national ones aren't covering your area.

Check the MCS website to find qualified electricians near you, all of whom should be able to add a battery.

They might have their own preferences over the brands of battery though, perhaps reflecting the particular training sessions they have done.
