New MG4 facelift version?

Have an X Power now, love it but new version could tempt me.

By the way, this is a good question, does this facelift relate to XPower only or classic MG4 will have it as well?

The facelift relates to all MG4 models - I'm presuming the SE also gets a facelift; unless they've decided to drop the SE spec altogether and offer the 49kWh LFP pack in the Trophy trim.

I hate large screens in cars, one of the many reasons I would never buy a Tesla, hideous huge screen, ugly. The MG4 looks great imo with its minimalist interior, one of the big attractions for me. I look forward to 100% HUD, no screens at all.

The screen is not only a screen, it's an input device as well. That's why we need bigger screen so as to make input zone comfortable in the moving car.

Yep, the plastic just looks cheap.

I think it looks ok, tbh when i was deciding between Trophy or X power initially i was put off by the black gloss plastic( thinking marks showing up etc) and preferred the matt plastic look all over, now i have the X power and have found the gloss is fine i think it looks good on the car but needs to be all round and not just the sides which looks a bit odd.
Would not be a deal breaker though, mine is leased until November 2026 so i can stew over it all and see the new car before then.
Depending how much mine will cost to buy from leasing company vs how much you will be able to pick a new or nearly new facelift up for will possible help me decide.

As it stands now, my interest is there, but it would have to be available in Orange, a metallic would be better.

For any function like navi for example, call it up using speech and enter your destination using speech. Even switch off LKA by speech for those who can't handle a few gentle suggestions from the car.

Pressing screens with fingers is a pretty crap way of communication. Plenty of good tech already around to get rid of a lot of it.

Unnecessary, and completely wrong. For example - I can see perfectly fine for driving (I'm longsighted), but I need specs for reading so reading the smaller items on the driver display and info display can sometimes be a challenge.

Time to hang up your driving gloves if you can't read what could be very important safety information such as low tyre pressure warnings

Where did I say I was in any way unsafe? Something being a challenge doesn't make it not visible - we all get to know what is where in our cars, and what they mean.

Try being constructive instead of passive-aggressive.

I like the current Gen size of the screen, because I can use the side / top / bottom as an "anchor" point so my hand doesn't move around and gives precision to my thumb without having to look where I'm at.

One thing i am really not so keen on personally for the X power is the matt plastic bumper, i prefer the matching gloss black one,with Orange and silver insert.View attachment 41544

The discounted ones sold this year are the same. Mines like it. I thought it was because they were using old parts from the bin.

Surprised it’s going on the facelift, on purpose. I’m not too bothered as it’s much easier to keep looking clean and it’s also in my vibe rejection armoury… basically sold not as described as that was one of the few visual differences.

The new interior does look nice. Not a chance in hell I’ll be buying one though as the vibes are a characteristic so they obviously won’t want to improve that by getting rid of it!!

Won't like the IM cars then or pretty much anything coming from China at the minute where the dash screen seems to be stretching the full width of the car.

Tesla screen in the Highland is outstanding quality, I wonder what your other reasons are?

I see enhance have not long released a driver's screen for Tesla's, they are probably the market leader make the s3xy knob etc.
They are also one of the companies that endorse Bjorn Nyland's channel
