Hi everyone.
Received my Trophy (Europe). It's running version R30 for the software.
Overall, mechanically no issues yet. No oil leak and no undertray bulge. Consumption is great for our day-to-day driving. Even with some highways mixed in, I will get average of 15 to 16 kW/100km.
But software wise.. here is some feedback:
If you have any tips let me know.

Overall, mechanically no issues yet. No oil leak and no undertray bulge. Consumption is great for our day-to-day driving. Even with some highways mixed in, I will get average of 15 to 16 kW/100km.
But software wise.. here is some feedback:
- Adaptive cruise control and LKA works fine.. it's not perfect but not a big issue. First time having these on any car so.. have no real comparison.
- Screen interactivity is bad.. software is overall poorly designed and some basic functions (like operating FM radio) is really an issue that no car should have.
- For some reason the car stopped having 4G Internet connectivity: No weather updates, cannot check for software updates, cannot get traffic from navigation. On top right I have 4G and full bar, but no connectivity. If I connect the car to my phone's hotspot wifi, everything works. Weird thing is.. the iSmart app works fine! I've reported this and It seems no one else has complained.
- Since day one that the time on the clock jumps forward, sometimes one hour, other times 4 hours. I've disabled GPS option, checked the timezone. It's also quite random..
- A/C temperature management.. yeah... outside temp is 23ºC and I have to set it to 26/27 to get a good temperature that isn't freezing.. I haven't even tested getting hot air yet. But this has been acknowledge to be an issue, but MG is still not providing information if this is software or faulty sensors that require recall.
- Bluetooth: I followed a recommendation to change the car name even at the stand. Connects to 2 android phones without issue. There are some software bugs on the music widget but.. it's not related to the BT connection itself.
- Android Auto: Seems to work great until the moment It will crash and quit and some random times. Also acknowledge as an issue, no feedback about a fix.
- Consumption graph is useless right?!
- 360 camera with blinkers at low speed is just idiot..I have to turn It off, but then when I need it there is no dedicated button for it which is a hassle. Both favorites are for Energy recuperation mode and A/C controls. If they would save my Energy recuperation preference, I would probably use the button for opening the 360 camera
If you have any tips let me know.
