That would drive me mad. You double check the doors have locked and they unlock as you approach.

That's just like checking the boot is locked with the key in your pocket.... the car isn't clever enough to know your intentions.

That's why I turned it off
It's bad enough washing the car and it locking and unlocking because you've touched the handles

Stellantis cars also have the proximity unlock.lock feature, apparently really annoying when you are doing a car review video

Poor real world range for a bigger battery car, 78kwh usable and averages 250 miles combined real world.

295 miles claimed on website which is low for a battery that size and according to autotrader ins group 45

Changan Deepak S05 coming this year, looks really well specced.

I think there is quite a bit of MG4 in that design.

It's an SUV with an extra 200mm between the wheels, compared to the MG4, so should have bags of passenger room. Apparently it has a frunk too.

Don't shoot me, people!

I've been looking at a car that is neither an MG nor an EV...

The Geely Starray hybrid caught my eye for two reasons. One, because it has a long EV only range (I think the larger battery model is up to 84 miles) and two, the larger battery model supports up to 60 kW rapid DC charging.the smaller battery is up to 51 miles and supports 30kW rapid DC charging.

It is well-speccd too. The only downside for me is that I find the looks a bit bloated.

Has anyone come across the car?
