Octopus Go Intelligent new 6 hours charging limit

I figure an extra £8.50 on top of the smart charge for the 100% equalisation charge very quarter.

I think it added around £5-6 to my last one on my Trophy, but I did do that with smart charge turned off to ensure it was one continuous charge with no breaks. Not really an issue cost wise as it is so infrequent.

I contacted Octopus regarding the solar conflict with charging time and got thei respose

"Hi there,

I would advise to manually set the charging on the solar to the guaranteed off peak time of 11:30pm-5:30am.

Given the quality of the responses I've had from Octopus, I'm not in the least bit surprised.

I emailed them over a year ago about abuse loopholes in IO Go and got an equally silly answer!

Fortunately, I have access to those who know.

Unfortunately, the quality of recruits today is dire. We are overrun with armchair experts on social media criticizing those who do whilst doing nowt themselves other than take. Employing them in desperation is a minefield of hope and hopelessness.
