Driving through southern Germany today we stretched the Cyberster’s legs on some of the de-restricted autobahn sections. I’m by no means a high speed regular driver but on some the quieter sections we got up to 110mph and it was very stable and confidence-inspiring. The car felt like it had plenty more it could do but one has passenger to consider too. Good fun but ,for me, not the most relaxing way to cover long distances! Doesn’t do much for range either. Mind you with plentiful charge points recharging not a problem like at this 40 bay (250kW) Tesla Supercharger site we used today next to the autobahn.

Nice, I mean depends if you could maintain 99mph you could cover (155 miles) in just over 1.5 hours. But instead its 2.5 hours to 3.5 hours in UK. 😂. Faster to take the train. Germans got it right but I dont agree a 2 lane highway is suitable for unlimited speeds. There should be minimum of 3 lanes with speed ratings on each 😂. With EV the petrol car driver has to reduce from average 75-80mph to 70mph for more range. With many petrol cars best range seems to come around 50-60mph though. My previous car was at 2.3k revs at 70 in highest gear gave 28mpg.
