Just washed my new mg4 when removing some bird droppings it’s brought the paint off told it’s not covered in the warranty.any body else had this problem
I‘m Scottish, I tell people I’m genetically tight. All spending on car products is exempt though as my wife will testify. Me - ”Lurpak Butter, have you seen how much this costs?, What’s wrong with the own brand?”. Her - “Your car cleaning“. Me “Yes dear. Good point, well made.”Not at Wetherspoons, £1.45 and free refills.![]()
Don't forget, you're talking to a Yorkshireman here.?

Same here, I use a paper kitchen towel that has been well damped with warm water ?then just a few tiny drops of either car shampoo or even a bit of mild washing up liquid.I found putting a piece of wet kitchen towel on the dropping for a few minutes softens it enough to just wipe it away
1.3p per sheet !I found putting a piece of wet kitchen towel on the dropping for a few minutes softens it enough to just wipe it away. About 1.3p per sheet for those who have a Yorkshire disposition towards money ?
Do you have any pics? Who told you that it’s not covered under warranty? Under normal conditions paintwork should be able to deal with bird droppings - as long as they are not left for a very long time and the car paintwork not washed - even then the paint can usually be mopped back.Just washed my new mg4 when removing some bird droppings it’s brought the paint off told it’s not covered in the warranty.any body else had this problem
