Parasitic drain on 12V battery

UPDATE - MG have authorised the CCU to be changed and I might have the car back before Christmas.
This good news at last !.
I am just very curious on how they suddenly decided it was the CCU was the reason for the parasitic drain after all of this time, or is this just a stab in the dark without any clear evidence of diagnosis.
Had they proven the drain via an amp clamp, then when they replace the CCU and carry out the test again, then this would 100% prove that they have cured the problem.
If they have no means of testing for the drain, then firing the parts cannon at the car without locating the actual cause of the drain, is a best guess method unfortunately 🙏.
Unless they subsided the CCU from another car and the parasitic drain has suddenly stopped of course !.
This would be my guess here.

I have no idea unless MG thinks change the Brain and stop the drain, someone else has had the same issues as me but it was the TBox at fault, they are now onto their second one. As my SOS button wasn't working, I was thinking it could be this, I've had enough and even asked Stonacre how much would they buy the car back off me. If they don't come back with a reasonable figure then I guess they don't want it back.

Did you have any problems with the app? The app would often log me out and say 'account change, your account is logged in on another device'. The garage said that this may be connected to the problem.

Yes, I had the same problems with the app, in the end I uninstalled from my phone. I also had to press the screen 2 or 3 times before the radio worked.
Did you have issues with the SOS button as mine wouldn't work, then out of the blue it started ringing out then cut off after 3 rings. This was the only time I seen a red light next to the button.

MG are very thorough in trying to find the problem and don't like authorising the replacement of parts to "see if that works." My MG4 had the AC charging problem and everyone thought it was the CCU that was at fault, even the service staff were convinced that was the problem as that had been the fix with other cars with the same defect.

The CCU was exchanged with one from another car and it didn't work. Eventually they found that the ICS (Integrated Charging Socket) needed replacing.

What I'm trying to say is if MG has approved the replacement of the CCU then it will be the CCU that's defective. On My MG4 it took a week to get the part and one day to fit it so fingers crossed that yoy get it back for Christmas.
