Passenger door not working

It is a safety feature - well it says it is in the manual. When the car is on and you drive off the doors lock. If you come to a halt with the car still on to open the passenger or rear doors you have to pull the handle twice.

Not on mine you don't. Very strange.

I find that if you come to a stop, but the car is in ready mode.
If the front passenger wants to leave the car before the car is closed down and before the driver leaves the car.
Then the front seat passenger will need to lift the interior door level twice to allow them to leave.
If the car is closed down then one pull on the handle should do the trick.
If the driver car is closed down or the driver leaves first, then the front passenger should only need the single pull on the interior handle.
