Looks a really good value car but the range is disappointing and with some spirited driving the range will be hammered.

Think the 77kwh extended range edition with the 6.5 sec 0-60mph seems a better balance.

I know it would be about weight and cost saving but I think the X power would have really benefitted from the bigger battery

The down side would have been less performance and handling due to the extra weight. Guess they thought this was a better compromise.

Also they may have concluded that the potential sales of an ER AWD version at (my guess) £40k, wouldn't justify the investment.

A performance model……yawn zzzzzzzzzzzx. Yet more arrogant idiots driving around in an aggressive manner and way beyond their skill level. I don’t think it will be too long before safety campaigners force the govt to literally put a brake on electric cars and all cars really. The power and speed is absolutely pointless on our grid locked roads.
