PoGo and Electroverse

Over a week ago I used the 200kW PoGo chargers at Crick M1 - first time user and impressed. Easy to use, nice big easy to read screen with charge graph etc, and at 65p full price, 60p with Electroverse, somewhat of a bargain nowadays.

But the question is, I haven't seen this charge come through on either Electroverse or my Octopus account yet. Does it usually take this long? I used the RFID card rather than the app to control the charge.

Contrast that with the BPplus chargers at the hotel - let's just say I eventually managed to add 0 kWh to the car on those! Absolute nightmare.

I think I can count on the fingers of the hand of someone with only a thumb the number of times MG4 owners have had successful outcomes when trying to charge at BP Pulse.

I didn't even get as far as trying to charge.

They were 7kW chargers, 6 posts with two sockets per post. Looks great for overnight charging...

No contactless, app only it says on them.

Download the app. Create an account. They offer a month's free subscription with reduced prices, great.

Try and add a credit card to the app - gets past the authorisation from the CC, then goes into an endless loop between two screens saying click continue to complete. Lots of attempts later on various networks I give up.

I then see BP say you can pay with a CC using the website. Go to the web site, the chargers don't show on the map. Turns out you can only use rapid chargers on the web site, not the 7kW.

Then I read the BP app FAQ, it says there you cannot use a new account until it has been created for 24 hours, wtf! Don't they want you to charge?

Account deletion requested, app removed from phone.

Only have 2 ultra rapid Pogos near me, the one with the big screen is great to use but I wish I had your problem of not getting a bill for it

Just noticed the update to your location, I presume you are SOPH, rather than POSH

Still no sign of it being billed! I did get a £100 invoice from Parking Eye though. You need to give your reg number to reception which we didn't see. You know, you're looking for where the chargers are rather than reading the sign at the car park entry. Anyway, the hotel even have an option on their phone system for parking charge issues, they cleared it no problem.

I had a similar issue about not being charged after using the Electroverse card. After 2 weeks I contacted Electroverse through the app giving them the operator, location and charger number. They said sometimes it takes a few days for it to come through but they'll chase it up.

That was in March. I still haven't been charged.

I made the mistake of signing up to BP 4 years ago, never used them and tried a few times to cancel the membership to no avail, I did remove all payment options though. Every month they send me a bill for £7.50 and every month it doesn't get paid. Never been queried once.

To wind this up, the charge came through on Electroverse this morning! Over two months later.
