Yes, the MG is really the wife's, but I get to drive it most of the time.
Last week, I was left with the ICE surf wagon, Not a problem, it's a nice car, and i can fit most of my boards inside.

Grenadier now very dusty having been played with down in Anza Borrego desert very off road all morning (8 hrs behind UK). He’s panicking asking my advice - should he engage “wading” mode - he estimates that water at dangerously close to half an inch fun fun fun.

I doubt if he’ll wash it all week

Invited to my mate's "burn off" last night.
He has a bush block and they've previously had a big fire scare, the family had to evacuate.
So while it's still legal and safe, he gathered up all the loose fuel and we burnt it.

Dry eucalyptus leaves burn real well!

Lucky it was a dead still night, those embers didn't go very far.

Or, more likely, a complex one. Certainly doesn't look like they'll fit many panels on that side of the roof and will be a nightmare with potential shadows from the dormer windows

The scaffolding goes down the side by the look of it and possibly on the rear of property

Yes, I spotted that. Guess it's an East-West configuration, though, these days, it's cost-effective to have North facing panels too. I was puzzled by the amount of side scaffolding - had the house been isolated then vertical panels could be handy in winter but, with the neighbouring house, that's not going to happen.
