You used to be able to buy cups like that in seaside novelty shops. They were closed up though, and you could use them, though they'd be awkward to drink from.

Doesn't look quite right to me,the coffee line shouldn't be vertical, it need to hit the cup at the same place both sides.
I had a go at correcting it, but was much harder than I thought, so gave up.

You can also get half a glass of wine but I don't know anyone that drinks wine by halves so no point in getting one

I had a go at correcting it, but was much harder than I thought, so gave up.

The fluid would hit the top edge only if the cup was full to the brim. It is not so the fluid would go the same distance below the rim. I actually did calculate the distances and where it would go behind the rim.
I should have feathered some transitions a bit more but I am not using it now.
