Wow, so it really is a 1935 model!
You've been sold a pup! there is no way that vice weighs a ton?
We are heading up on Wednesday this week and it looks like the weather is going to do 'a Scotland' on usThere’s a couple of chargers at the Kelpies car park but they don’t appear to be in use yet. There’s a bunch of them at the Falkirk football stadium type2 and CCS as very pleasant walk away.
I was over at the Kelpies trying my bike the other day. I parked at the first park as it was free. Just as I unloaded the bike I noticed they had installed parking meters. I went over to pay and found a sticker saying no charge after 14:00. Checked my phone (don’t even own a watch these days). It was 14:03
. What a joyful cycle I had
The only downside was the bike for some reason would not pass by the ice cream van.![]()
Wish I could join you, would love a ride on the wheel.
We are heading up on Wednesday this week and it looks like the weather is going to do 'a Scotland' on us, well it wouldn't be Britain if you didn't get wet.
Hopefully be at the Kelpies for about 2:30pm ish for a wander round and a coffee. Planning to stop at Tebay Northbound on the way up approx 75 miles in and 2 hours into journey then rest of journey up approx 2 and a half hours for the remaining 144 miles.
I was not planning on charging on the way up but we'll see how the weather and speed affects the range.
Visiting Stirling and the Castle on the Thursday and then The Wheel for a boat trip on the Friday morning before setting off home and stopping at Tebay Southbound on the way home.
Ah but they're at 66p / kWh, I was hoping to take advantage of your Scottish hospitality and find a cheaper place.Tebay northbound has 12 or 13 chargers at a fairly reasonable price. ABC!
Not sure really, but after being slightly frustrated with certain other members, I think he decided to leave us, and he hasn't logged in since June.So , finally .... that's what happened to Bricktop?![]()
Yes, I've been on the wheel a number of years ago, it's so well balanced it's driven by a 1.5kW motor.Wish I could join you, would love a ride on the wheel.
Something to do with football teams and their supporters.@siteguru - I’m puzzled. Why can’t you wear green if you are going to Larkhall?
Add on a dose of nationality, religion, history and Gazza pretend playing a flute. !!!Something to do with football teams and their supporters.![]()
