Project OBD2 - Mobile App v1.2.1 and later

@Chrisb / @Fishettibean I've added your data into the spreadsheet:

We are now getting a good dataset :)
All BMS versions except for the duff (oct) one are now known.

You can look at the differences and any if have ideas as to why the other few are different, please share.

Yeah I thought so, I've not had chance to compare them yet, but they were both updated a month apart at the same garage, can't understand why my gom is different, but won't loose any sleep over it, I'm really happy with the car and range etc, both cars have been great so far.

Been watching this thread for the last week or so, and was already planning to grab another OBD tool anyway, so... screenshot below, although I think it's pretty much similar to what others have already got. Comfort 2 done, as best as I can tell. Charging to 455+, and no issues with charging or range. Car registered in October 20, but only bought in January 21.
@macd2401 added your data into the spreadsheet too now:

You have the 7/2020 BMS.
You and @AbuG are the only ones with the version of the SCU ecu, you both have the newest of the cars, so maybe that's a new thing from the factory.

I was happy to see that the SOH of the battery in both cars was still at 100%, so it would seem theres been absolutely no battery degradation occuring, which I think is very good after a full years usage.

Just done mine. Picked up on the 3rd November. Believe CF2 was factory installed, BMS Oct one?. Cannot charge on AC with it unlocked, however charging stops and starts again if I unlock and then relock it

R15, I Don't think that's the withdrawn BMS as Alan15 had it too, his last possible updates were September.
I think we need more data. It's possible the rolled out UK update in July has different version to the factory produced ones after that date.

First BMS update February 2020 for delayed charging
Door loom recall September 2020
First service, Fuse and BMS update January 2021
Does not charge with door unlocked
Ediag OBD2 adaptor works well with MG ZS EV
Doesn't work with e-niro though.
Is there a different adaptor that will work with e-niro?

That's a bit odd.

You have BMS 1125600R15
Which I believe is the very original BMS
It's a bit odd if you can't charge AC unlocked too.
The EVCC 1770099611 you have matches what I thought was a very old one too.
I've never seen the DCDC F01R0A7325 that you have before either.
I've never seen the TC F01R0A7324 that you have before either.

Very odd!
Could it have been a car that was produced a long time ago and sitting in storage???

You've had a busy car in the dealership!
It was after 15/1/2021 your car went in I presume as you have the latest 15/1 BMS version 1230621A01.

Spreadsheet now all updated:

Was informed that the car arrived at Bristol in October 2020 on the big import saw the import ticket on the screen before we got it but there was no date.

Booked in on the 15th for updates

Soooo strange!
I can't explain that.

It's booked in 15th of March? If so definitely do a version dump afterwards to see what's changed.

Help!?!
The only android devices I can find lying around are Amazon fire 7 tablets.
I've tried to install the APK file and get "there was a problem while parsing the package".

Does it need a certain version of Android OS to work?

thanks

Don't think Amazon fire is android.
Edit
Yes just googled it... It runs fire OS... Android without Google.
Many android apps can run from it. try re-downloading

If you do a Google search with the error... Several suggestions are present...
Most frequent ... Is to allow an option to install from unknown sources

There is a newer version of the Thai app... Android only... Plenty of information is present, SoH, SoC battery temperature... Update versions too.

No need for torque pro unless you want a nicer layout. Pics below are all from personal testing. All I needed was a £10 Bluetooth OBD2 device (eBay link, others may work too ) .

Incidentally, the BMS on mine is R28 (??July update). If we can find out what the October and January updates were named would be useful.
