That's good to hear, that another CPO has followed FastNED's lead.
£1…???Apple Pay is my default system, but I keep Mastercard, Amex, Visa debit, Monzo and Zapmap card with me to maximise the chance of success. I’ve never been convinced that the bank is the problem. The 10+ charges for £1 that appear in the various accounts during a session of frustration indicate that the banking system is working fine. (The various £1 are always credited back eventually)
That's well worth it.Earlier today I charged on a Gridserve, and when I unplugged the app offered me a plug and play option for future. I accepted, and here I am on another Gridserve and it worked. Just plugged in and the car started charging, no fuss.
Last week I should have walked away from a CPS charger at Kelvin Grove art gallery in Glasgow.A couple of days ago I walked away from a charger at Tebay, believing the car was charging. It might have been as much as 20 minutes later before I realised it wasn't, and I had to go back out in the rain to get the charge started for real. Which was entirely my own fault of course.
HOW MUCH ! ! is that for real?My parking charge was £100 !!!
Oh yeah - I have the scars to prove it - both in my heart and my walletHOW MUCH ! ! is that for real?![]()
And I thought parking was expensive in York.Oh yeah - I have the scars to prove it - both in my heart and my wallet![]()
Who issued the PCN? Was it on the windscreen or did it come through the post?Last week I should have walked away from a CPS charger at Kelvin Grove art gallery in Glasgow.
Not being able to find a parking space I coupled up to a charger and smuggly walked past the lesser icers still looking to park.
When I returned my charger charge was £10.
My parking charge was £100 !!!
I didn’t see the bit about paying for parking whilst charging
The notice affixed to my windscreen soon put me right.
Of course paying early gave me a massive 50% reduction - oh goody !!
Last I read that has changed after a tweek to the law, previously the reg keeper didn't have to provide the driver details to parking companies therefore the ticket was not enforceable, pretty sure they have changed that now.Who issued the PCN? Was it on the windscreen or did it come through the post?
If it wasn't Glasgow City Council that issued it then you (possibly) don't have to pay it.
And if it was on the windscreen then you can wait for a postal notice - if it was a postal notice then that makes things even easier.
But the who is the key question.
