managed to perfectly reverse into a post, which only hit the small towing eye cover at the rear - anyone know that paint code for the rear valance?

What is the MG paint code for the car you have ???.

Don’t know exactly, black so will be something around 9005. But the valance is a dark grey.

It's the non painted plastic that's scuffed rather than the body coloured parts ?

Maybe a plastic dressing will help ??.
Detailers use it on the black plastic trim at lot.
I like a product called “Pro Pearl” it can be used in different strengths to give a flat or shiny finish.
You can used it on plastic trim and rubber, it can be diluted with water ?.

Apologies, its not the black textured part, but the grey part - anyway I'll pop down to the paint shop in the morning, and match using their colour cards.
