Rapid charging question

I have a type 2 cable that came with the car. But will I also need a Combined Charging System (CCS Combo 2) cable to be able to use a DC fast charging station? Or are these fast stations tethered?

Sometimes, you carry a granny lead to charge from a 3-pin socket on 10 Amps of 230V AC electricity
Sometimes, you carry a type 2 lead to charge at Tesco or Aldi etc on 16 or 32 Amps of 230V AC electricity

All DC leads are tethered to the charger, because DC charging is 400V at hundreds of Amps

Hi, you are correct in that CCS Rapid chargers are tethered.
Type2 Fast EVSE mostly need a 32A type 2 to type2 cable.
