Rear Light Bar Flickering

Brief update: the car went into the garage for this plus the fact that the light bar was filling up with water too; it became a mini-fish tank!

There was no quibble, they could see the water in it and they're ordering a replacement to be done under warranty. Parts should be ready in a few days.

Since the flickering was intermittent, this could have been a different story with flickering alone, as I couldn't guarantee it flickering when the garage looked at it.

Result Obviously the Aquarium helped in this case. But anyone else having just the intermittent flickering problem, take a video on your phone, and show the dealer, might help.

All done, I am very happy.

Interestingly, the new light has far bigger holes for condensation release and a proper drain at the lowest point, which I assume were changes made since my car was made.

There are 5 large holes, easily big enough to let water in / air out. My last rear bar didn't have any visible holes that I could find.

Are you sure they're holes, I have 5 similar 'circles', but they're not holes?

Ah... on closer examination they are not holes.

Probably mold marks from the injection mold tool used to fabricate the plastic shell.

No... but loads was getting in. There was a crack on the top side, maybe that way?
