I was looking to get some Bosch Wiper Blades for my XPOWER and wanted to ask - what is the correct code/set for the car?

Bosch recommended a different set to another website and Halfords state they don’t do compatible ones at all!

Bosch AeroTwin A721S as I recall. Check the Wiki.

It looks like a pair / set comprises of :- 1 x Off 24" inch plus 1 x Off 16" inch blade for the front.
Set of Bosch Aerotwins AP24U & AP16U.
Other makes are available also, but personally I do like the Bosch Aeros myself.

You can get the Bosch A721S from Halfords,
I got a set from my local store (Bridgend) last week.
As I already knew what I was looking for I found them straight away, but if you search for MG4 or put your Reg No in their website search thingy they don't come up at all, only their standard single flat blades or their 'Advanced Silicone' ones

Another vote for the Bosch A721s blades. I fitted them to mine 2 years ago and they still clear the screen as they did when new.
I have used the Bosch Aerotwins on all of my cars for the last 10 years+ and have found them to be extremely good blades.
I put a pair on my wife’s hardly used Fiat500 about 3 years ago and have just replaced them again.
Given the lack of use, the material on the blade becomes hard over time and they started to become noisy in there operation / skipping on the glass.
The automatic wipers system found on a lot of new cars, don’t help really when we have ice on the windscreen.
As soon as you bring the car to life, the wipers will start to operate.
Dragging the blades across the rough ice that has formed on the glass !.
This has a detrimental affect that can damages the blade material prematurely 🥴.

The wiper blades on my old BMW 330D were on the car for 7 years. A quick wipe with silivon spray once a year kept them working as new, no juddering etc.

I tried those on my MG4, completely useless. The clips supplied don't fit the arms and there's no way to remove the clips from the old arms without breaking them.

Thanks,

What about the Rear Wiper?
See my post on this elsewhere on this forum @CarbonEV, I was unable to find an exact replacement for the rear, I wanted to cover more than the original 200mm blade to cover the rear dashcam, the Bosch H281 bought on Amazon, it has the correct hook and fits my new MGS5 and the older MG4, with only the smallest of mods, I'll post the simple

mod pic here again. Apologies for the shaky pic, but my phone wants to show it as a movie 😂😂y

Thanks @MG Clive hope it helps anyone wanting to increase the sweep area of the rear wiper blade,.
I was wondering if I should post the details as a separate thread! Lots may be in the same position as me, ie keeping a rear dash cam as high as possible centrally on the rear window, or just wanting to have a little better rear visibility, but the original wiper on my MGS5 and those with a later MG4 as my old one, leaves about 50mm at the top dirty.
I know there will be those not wanting to DIY a dashcam themselves, but the wiper blade is a much simpler task to carry out for less than a tenner!
