Would like to be there on 16/4 but usually work on Sunday mornings (church!). However, that particular morning, I’ll be on a plane to Rwanda. Hope the UK government let me come back…..

“Down the Hatch” is wonderful. I recommend their Poutine for a good carbs boost!

Enjoy, Hope you all have a good time.

Not sure if they would appreciate being connected to "Chinese MGs" but it might be worth exploring the Scottish MG Owners Club to set up a specialist group.

Please add me to your Booking for Breakfast on Sunday 16th of April 2023. Regards Iain Watt
We should be alright Iain, as I booked a table for four and that’s a definite four coming now. 👍

Have a great trip and hopefully we‘ll meet up at the next gathering.

I'd have loved to have come, it's not far for me and I just got my car on Thursday. However the choir I'm a member of has a concert tomorrow afternoon and there's a rehearsal at two and all the getting-ready faff beforehand so there just isn't time.

Enjoy yourselves. Maybe if there's another one I'll be able to come.

Thanks Rolfe! Yeah, I’ll see if we can have it on a Saturday next time, so hopefully those who can’t make it on a Sunday can come.

It was a pleasure meeting you this morning @Tartaniain at Down the Hatch! Poor Iain was led astray, as the website shows the Edinburgh branch which is located on a street, whereas the South Queensferry branch is in the middle of Port Edgar Marina. But we managed to meet up and enjoy a good chin-wag. Iain drives a fine looking red Trophy, with a very cool number plate in honour of his late wife. 😊 Thank you @Leni16 for recommending the diner. I enjoyed the pancake tacos and Iain had a hearty Canadian skillet.

Glad you all had a good time. I'm currently in full concert gear about to rush out of the house to pick up another choir member - it wouldn't have been possible really. (And I was at a party late last night!)

Next time, maybe.

Are MG4’s difficult to park lol

Yeah, that's a bit damning!

Small point. Isn't it just "Queensferry"?

You don't say "South Berwick".

Ah yes , but directly across the river lies the other pier for the old ferry that plied the river with all the road traffic before either of the road bridges were built. So that side is North Queensferry.

Have a great concert, Rolfe!

It goes by both names, but growing up there we just referred to it as the Ferry.

Glad you had a good time. I was at a meeting this morning of the Yorkshire EV club at the new Tesla garage in Sheffield. Guess the most popular car? Yes the MG4. Including mine there were 5 of them - all Trophy’s apart from one SE LR.

It was nice to chat about the car to fellow owners.

Thanks, it was nice to meet up with a fellow MG4 owner.
Wow! That’s great to hear. It sounds like you had a good time too.

Queensferry and North Queensferry, like Berwick and North Berwick.

The road signs say Queensferry, as far as I can recall.
